Ann Sexton was an American soul singer who recorded mainly in the 1970s. Her biggest hit, "You're Gonna Miss Me", reached the R&B chart in 1973. She was Chuck Jackson's cousin and married to Melvin Burton. After her divorce, she worked at a New York City school as a paraprofessional, using her married name Mary Burton.
