Eight-piece Cincinnati-based musicians, occassionally joined by guest guitarist Lonnie Mack. A stripped-down foursome joined James Brown in James Brown and The Dapps for a few tracks, the only hit single being 'I Can't Stand Myself (When You Touch Me)'. The band broke up in 1969.
