American singer and songwriter active in the 60s and 70s. Born in Montgomery, Alabama on October the 28th 1939. Died on April the 18th 2007. Before and after making records he was a DJ which was how he got the nickname “Popper Stopper”. He founded the record label Tolchose Recording Co. in his hometown.
