R & B vocal group from East St. Louis, Illinois, USA, named after a local brand of cigarettes, active with releases from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. The group included Phil Perry, David Frye, George McLellan, Kevin Sanlin and Clifford Williams. (Not to be confused with the early 1960s soul group The Monclairs from Cleveland, Ohio, USA).
In 1974, Clifford Williams was drafted into the U.S. military and the group continued as a quartet.
