NYC - Long Island area duo/trio formed an interesting piece of early-1980s electronic/dance music, often rediscovered by collectors of Italo, boogie, and proto-electro.

The Puppets / Dead Puppets disbanded while recording a full length album around 1984.

There are two bands named Puppets. One of which (Top picture) is a York-based trio consisting of Will - Percussion, Joe - Guitar/Vocals and Hoxy - Bass/Vocals. Their banging Jefferies-Pop beats have been enticing the whole of York not to go see them and their loyal fans (Tom) follow them everywhere. They started way back in February '09 and since them they have done numerous gigs in Basement, Fibbers, Duchess and the prestigious Harrogate Ladies College. If you like crazy-awesome drumming, then this is the band for you as Will is a GOD.
