He stands as the highest selling rap/hip hop artist ever, having sold 67 million albums worldwide. Shaped in the genre of Rap, most of Shakur's songs are about growing up around violence and hardships in United States ghettos, racism, and sometimes his feuds with fellow rappers. Tupac is known for the political, economic, and racial equality messages in some of his work.
