the brain of oskar panizza (cheeb's less brainz edit)
German rock bass player and multi-instrumentalist, and a key figure of the Frankfurt am Main Prog/Krautrock scene. Owner of Krypton Music (2)/Krypton Music (3), and long-term partner of Silke Hauck. Died December 27, 2019 at the age of 70. His first professional band was Medusa, who later changed into the second incarnation of Nine Days' Wonder. After that Michael had the short-lived pop-rock band Nerve (only documented by two songs on one of the Rock Offers LPs). He then became a pioneer in new forms of synthesizer music releasing three very different solo albums, as well as working under many aliases and in incognito projects making soundtracks and disco music. Alongside all this he also became an important promoter, producer and engineer on the Frankfurt music scene.

Michael Bundt started his career in a number of relatively obscure early-70's German progressive bands, including Nine Days Wonder and Nerve. In 1977 he changed direction, starting a synth band called Sirius, who then morphed into what you can hear on his best known album "Just Landed Cosmic Kid" , which was released in 1977. The album features the kraut disco of "The Brain Of Oscar Panizza", which was recently had the re-edit treatment by Pilooski on his Dirty Edits album.
