bad medicine
trespasser (part 2) (break)
Bayou-funk & blues band from Syracuse, New York. Formed in 1968 on Halloween day and disbanded in December 1975. Bad Medicine was an all white Caucasian outfit, a rare line-up of funk musicians at the time since blues and funk was predominately black music. For the 7 years they were active, they opened up for blues acts such as Lightnin' Hopkins, Muddy Waters, and Mitch Ryder. They played a mixture of self-written material and covers by other funk bands. They had a minor hit with their single "Trespasser", a funky instrumental track recorded in the winter of 1974.
