Beautiful show! I grew up in the 80s and 90s but wasn't really listening to hip-hop at the time. It's fantastic to rediscover this music as an adult.
Also, I _love_ that Supercat track. And that "real music vs. bullshit" keeps on makin me laugh. But it's true!
respect to the d, great show great tribute
Dang! That Colonel Red version of Make Me Wanna Holla has been on repeat steadily for the past 45 mins...someone stop me!!!
heavy 333
Very nicely done. I grew up listening to Heavy D during my early teen years, this took me back. That Candy Rain Rmx has a bit of a Grover Washington sample...
Great Show!
That "Edge" remix is still one of the best breaks ever. Both Tash and Dre crushed it in '99, but i never knew who had first dibs on it...
a wonderful journey back in time before auto tune and UFOnics
spasibo!)))
Gracias We Funk por este homenaje al gran Heavy D Paz para todos y buenos beats.
