Heat rising: Bain Magique's got lots of hazy soul and moody grooves from Flying Lotus, Light of the World, Theo Parrish, Junei, Ohio Players and more. Plus the infectious boogie of Karen Silver retouched by Fingerman, lyrical calisthenics from Blackalicious' debut EP, and toasting meets jeep beats on Kenny Dope & Shaggy's classic "Gunshot".

Thx Bain Magique. Good seasonal remedy
Awesome show as always!!!
Amazing sound! A great show, thanks for what you do. I love so much Erykah Badu "window seat", a beautifull remix! Keep like that brothers. Love Wefunk, the best of Da Funk! Peace. ;-)
Great show! love erykah with "window seat". Nice remix!
@ Professor Groove: You did everything right bro. Your Nose will not grow :-)For me, there is No need to mention George Clinton for the Alkalino Remix, I think its pretty obvious who did the Original. But some youngsters might need that .....well so be it : Each One Teach One. Keep on Funkin da Funk!
That Kenlo beat is massive
Ooh, that O'Bryan - Feeling Fine track has me groovin' so hard - gonna teach myself to play it on my bass guitar soon!
@ProfessorGroove Adding accredited notes about he origins of remixes would be a great idea!
@Aaron: Yeah I don't agree with putting your own name first on a remix or edit. On the other hand, Alkalino does top notch remixes, so when I like them I'll probably play them. Question is - when the original artist isn't credited, should we add a note in the playlist so listeners know where it came from?
Why are they crediting some white named "Alkalino" for a pure George Clinton P-Funk song "Chocolate City?" Don't fake the funk or your nose will grow.
If anyone was having problems with the player on iPhone/iPad, we've switched back to the the way it was before. Sorry for the inconvenience!
That Bobby Hughes track is great!
That Charles Earland track is gold! Peace from Amsterdam!
