American funk-soul singer. Hollinsworth began singing gospel as a child. She was a soloist with the Poughkeepsie Community Chorus (New York) in the 1960's. In 1970, using the name Helena Hollins, was set to release the album The Name Of The Game on Stonegood Records, a startup company begun by Monk Higgins. The songs were copywritten by her and seemingly recorded but the album was never distributed. She sang the song Changes for the Solomon King (Original Soundtrack) (1974).
